Anna Faith PIERCE

PIERCE, Anna Faith - age 81, of Fenton, went to be with the Lord on July 25, 2013. Anna Faith is survived by her beloved husband of nearly 61 years, Manley. They served the Lord faithfully in ministry and together raised five sons and a daughter. Michael of Chicago, IL, Marshall (Christine) of New Tripoli, PA, Monty (Sue) of Lennon, MI, Michelle (Dr. Glenn) Carter of Fenton, MI, Matthew (Kelly) of Fenton, MI and Mark (Rhonda) of Davison, MI. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Anna Faith spent her life devoted to her Savior and Lord, Jesus Christ, as both a preacher's daughter and preacher's wife. She met the love of her life at Lincoln Christian University in Lincoln, IL and was faithfully by Manley's side throughout their 50 years of ministry. Known for her vibrant personality and great sense of humor, she was loved by all who knew her. She was a talented pianist, organist, and member of National Music Teachers Association. Her great joy in life was teaching children to play and she poured her love into the lives of several hundred students she taught for over 50 years. Anna Faith enjoyed nothing more than seeing her young pianists grow to love music and use their gifts to glorify God. Her friendly personality made her a people magnet and she will be sorely missed by her family, piano students, church and many, many friends. Most important to Anna Faith was her love for her husband, family and little pug, Muffy. She enjoyed decorating and making the family home a beautiful and welcoming place. She also enjoyed cooking and invited people for Sunday dinner her entire life. Anna Faith loved the Lord and is now finally able to see Him face to face. "In all things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us." Celebration services will be held at Central Church of the Nazarene, 1261 W. Bristol Rd., Flint, Monday, July 29, 2013 at 11 AM with Pastors Dr. Glen Gardner and David Hintz officiating. In lieu of flowers, gifts may be given to the Central Church. Visitation will be held at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 W. Silver Lake Rd., Fenton on Sunday, July 28, 2013 from 2:00-4:00 PM and 6:00-9:00 PM.
