KNOPF, Annice M. (Coates) - Age 93, of Fenton, died Thursday, July 18, 2013. Arrangements have been provided by Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 East Broad Street, Linden. Those desiring may make contributions to Arbor Hospice. Annice was born July 25, 1919 in Cape Girardeau, MO, the daughter of Charles and Mattie Maud (Shaw) French. She moved to Michigan in the 1940's and lived in the Flint area most of her life. She was a graduate of Flint Central High School. Annice had worked for General Motors. She was a member of the Court Street Methodist Church. Mrs. Knopf is survived by her sister, Betty Matashed; children, Robert Coates, Barbara (Dr. Douglas) Siders, Virginia (Dr. Ronald) Bratlie; grandchildren, Annice Siders, Abigal Siders, Dr. Robert M Coates Jr., Shannon Poulath, Carrie Carlson, Kari Bratlie, Matthew Bratlie; 4 great-grandchildren.
