Ann Stasia Farro

FARRO, Ann Stasia - Age 86, of Gaines, died Friday, January 3, 2020.  Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Monday, January 6, 2020 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller  Road Chapel, Swartz Creek.  Burial in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Gaines.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home Monday from 12 PM until the time of the service.  Those desiring may make contributions to a charity of your choice.

Ann was born April 26, 1933 in Clayton Township, the daughter of Charles and Mary (Studnicka) Ocenasek.  She was a 1951 graduate of Swartz Creek High School.  She married Frank Farro April 25, 1953 at St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church in Swartz Creek.  She enjoyed shopping, flowers, taking care of her house and yard work.

Surviving are: husband, Frank Farro, 3 children, Debbie (Brad) Keasler of Flint Township, Steve (Linda) Farro of Gaines, and Linda (Terry) Cowell of Gaines; grandchildren, Chris (Chrysti) Cowell of Burton, Adam (Jamie) Keasler of Comstock Park, Kara (Brandon) Southwell of Gaines, Heather (Curran) Snider of Lennon, Kate (Jason) Keene of Swartz Creek, and Kourtney (Billy) Freese of Swartz Creek; 11 great grandchildren; sisters, Betty Parenteau of Swartz Creek, Jeanne Tanguay of Niceville, FL, Rosemary Wolgast of Swartz Creek; brother-in-law and sister- in- law Dave and  Margaret Sander of Rochester Hills and several nieces and nephews.
