Arlin "Duane" Carroll

Carroll, Arlin "Duane" - age 69 of Grand Blanc, passed away peacefully, with his family by his side, on May 18, 2026 at Hurley Medical Center. Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Duane's Life will be held at 12:00 PM Saturday, May 30, 2026 at the Swartz Creek Church of the Nazarene located at 7154 Morrish Road, Swartz Creek with Pastor Joshua McLaren officiating. The family will receive guests at the church on Saturday from 11:00 AM until the time of service. Duane will be laid to rest, with military honors rendered by the United States Air Force at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly, Mi. at a date and time to be announced. For those desiring memorial contributions may be made in memory of Duane to the American Cancer Society (American Cancer Society).

Arlin was born on January 23, 1957 in Flint, Michigan to Arlin and Lula Ann (Vickroy) Carroll. He graduated from Grand Blanc High School in 1975 and then served our country with the United States Air Force before being honorably discharged. Known to almost everyone as Duane, he was a "motor head" with a passion for working on cars. He enjoyed his escapes to the cottage in Harrison, hunting, fishing and was an avid reader.

Surviving are his daughter, Sara (Josh) Lowrance of Owosso. Grandchildren, Trevor, Logan, Elijah, Skiah, Maverick and Payton. Mother, Lula of Grand Blanc. Siblings, Tom Carroll of Grand Blanc and Linda (Keith) Goodrich of Lapeer. Brother-in-law, Darrell Blakley of Clio. Many nieces and nephews. Duane will be welcomed into heaven by his father, Arlin; Son, Gregory; Sister, Barbara Blakley.
