Arthur HERRERA Sr.

HERRERA, Arthur Sr. -- Age 54, of Grove City, Ohio, formerly of Flint, died December 5, 2012 at Mount Carmel West Hospital, Columbus, OH. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 1:00 PM Saturday, December 8, 2012 at Our Lady of Guadalupe G 2316 W. Coldwater Rd., Flint, Rev. Cecillio Reyna celebrant. Visitation will be held 4-9 Friday at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Flint where a rosary will be prayed at 7PM Friday. Visitation Saturday will be at the funeral home from 10 - 11 AM, and then at the church from 12 Noon until the time of the mass. Mr. Herrera was born December 24, 1957 in Flint, the son of Gabriel and Rosa (Trujillo) Herrera. He married Dolores Guerra on July 1 1978. He worked at General Motors retiring in 2008 with 31 years of service. Mr. Herrera loved his family and was always a generous and giving person helping everyone, he will be sadly missed. He is survived by his wife Dolores; four children, Arthur Herrera Jr. of Grove City OH., Alex (Krista) Herrera of Pickerington OH., Antonio Herrera of Columbus OH., Andres Herrera of Grove City OH.; Sixteen grandchildren and one great granddaughter; three brothers, Roberto Herrera, Pedro Herrera, and Rafael Herrera all from Flint. He is preceded in death by his parents; son Jason Platz; Three brothers, Roy and Jesse Gonzalez and Gabriel Herrera; great-granddaughter, Hope Lynn.
