Athanasia "Sia" K. Garceau, age 66, of Fenton, passed away on Saturday, April 4, 2026, at her home surrounded by her family.
A funeral ceremony will take place at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, at Assumption Greek Orthodox Church, 2245 E. Baldwin Road, Grand Blanc, with Fr. Angelo Maggos presiding. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Grand Blanc.
The family will receive visitors from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, at Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Grand Blanc, and again on Wednesday from 10:00 AM until the time of service at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family, c/o Gregory Garceau, for a memorial donation in Sia’s name.
Sia was born on September 13, 1959, in Flint, the daughter of the late Konstantinos and Lambrini (Saites) Nikitaides. She graduated from Grand Blanc High School with the Class of 1977. On November 3, 1985, she married Gregory Garceau in Flint.
She was a devoted Wife, Mother, Yia Yia, and Sister. Sia was deeply committed to her faith and was an active member of Assumption Greek Orthodox Church in Grand Blanc.
In her free time, she enjoyed antiquing, shopping with her sisters and daughter, reading, and spending time with her grandchildren. For over 40 years, she devoted her life to nurturing and guiding her family, leaving a legacy of love, strength, kindness, giving, and unwavering support. Her favorite saying to be remembered by was, “Do good, Say good, Be good.”
She is survived by her loving husband of 40 years, Gregory Garceau; her three children, Adam (April) Garceau, Steve (Shannon) Garceau, and Brianna (Ryan) Braun; her six grandchildren, Gavin, Aubrey, and Garrett Garceau, Mathew and Sophia Braun, and Olivia Garceau; and her three siblings, her twin sister Voula (Andy) Ferich, George Nikitaides, and Mia (Nick) Vitinaros.
