Audrey Hyde

HYDE, Audrey Norma - Age 86, of Linden, died August 23, 2017. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Saturday, August 26, 2017 at Linden Presbyterian Church, 119 W. Broad St., Linden. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will be held 3-8 PM Friday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 E. Broad St., Linden and from 10 AM until the time of service Saturday at the church. Those desiring may make contributions to Linden Presbyterian Church or Linden Historical Society. Audrey was born April 27, 1931 in Gaines, the daughter of Verne and Mildred (King) Phillips. She married William F. Hyde on January 20, 1951; he preceded her in death on December 25, 2002. Mrs. Hyde was a member of Linden Presbyterian Church. She had been active in the Linden Historical Society and Linden Library. She is survived by her son, Mark (Debra) Hyde; daughter, Cynthia (David) Shane; grandchildren, Noel Hyde, Julia (Scott) Beattie, Kelsey Hyde and Alex (Erica) Dethloff; great-grandchildren, Lucy and Anna Beattie; many nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Edward and Merle Phillips; sisters, Donna Murphy, Dorothy O'Morrow, Elaine Hall and Ellen White.
