August DeMeulenaere

DeMeulenaere, August A., age 92, of Swartz Creek, formerly Harbor Beach, MI and Dearborn passed away Tuesday, February 26, 2008 at Crestmont Healthcare Center, Fenton.  Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 28, 2008 at 12:00 PM at Forest Lawn Cemetery, 11851 Van Dyke, Detroit. Arrangements are through Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek.  August was born March 19, 1915 in Detroit son of Oscar and Ernistine (Winkel) DeMeulenaere. He was a resident of Dearborn most of his life. He worked 41 years for Ford Motor Conmapany retiring in 1975, and was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in WWII. Survivors include his wife Mytle "Doris", a daughter Ruth A. Jolly of Swartz Creek, and a  grandson Harry Love.
