Austin Jay Clarkson

CLARKSON, Austin Jay - age 29, of Swartz Creek, formerly of Fenton, passed away Saturday, August 12, 2023.  Funeral Services will be held 11 AM Thursday August 17 at First Baptist Church, 15030 N. Holly Rd., Holly.  Pastor Jack Harris and Pastor Phil Martyn officiating.  Visitation will be held 2-8 PM Wednesday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton; and at the church from 10 AM Thursday until the time of service. Those desiring may make contributions to Food Ministry of First Baptist Church of Holly.

Austin was born December 5, 1993 in Flint, the son of Mark Thomas and Susan Kay (Sarver) Clarkson.  He was a 2012 graduate of Fenton High School.  After high school he had the incredible experience and served time training in Austria, with 3 Con Company.  After he returned he attended Mott Community College.  Austin owned and operated S.K.S. Customs in Swartz Creek.  He attended First Baptist Church of Holly.  Austin enjoyed hunting, fishing, and wake boarding.  Most of all, he loved parenting his son, Jentry, one of many things they loved doing together was rollerblading.  

Surviving are: his beloved parents, Mark and Sue; his son, Jentry; several aunts, uncles, cousins; and Jentry's mom, Dallys Perkins.
