B. Case

CASE, Dale B. -- Age 93, of Swartz Creek, died March 16, 2017. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Monday, March 20 at West Flint Church of the Nazarene, 2254 S. Dye Rd., Flint. Visitation will be held 4-8 PM Sunday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek, and again from 10 AM until time of service at the church on Monday. Those desiring may make contributions to West Flint Church of the Nazarene. Dale was born in Flint on May 27, 1923 to Ernest and Lillian (Gilford) Case. He served his country during WWII in the United States Navy. In 1944, he married Marian (Durance) and they had six children together. Dale was in the building and construction trades and is the former owner and contractor of Case Construction, and G.E. Associates Architects. During his career he built over 300 churches. He was a faithful member of the West Flint Church of the Nazarene and loved his church family. Dale was upbeat and a very optimistic person. He loved learning new things, gaining knowledge, and using his computer. He enjoyed woodworking and taking walks around his pond. But most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family. Dale is survived by his three sons, Ronald (Patricia) Case, Thomas (Berta) Case, William (Laurette) Case; two daughters, Catherine (Roger) Baker, and Bonnie (David) Schwenk. Also surviving is his brother Merle (Sue) Case; 10 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. Dale was preceded in death by his parents; his beloved wife Marian and his daughter, Carolynn.
