HUDSON, Barbara Kay - Age 77, of Fenton, formerly of Byron, died August 19, 2013. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Thursday, August 22, 2013 at Tyrone Covenant Presbyterian Church, 10235 White Lake Rd., Fenton. Pastor James Mascow will officiate. Interment in Byron Cemetery. Visitation will be held 5-8 PM Wednesday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton and from 10 AM until the time of service Thursday at church. Those desiring may make contributions to Women Alone Ministry at Tyrone Covenant Presbyterian Church. Barbara was born August 9, 1936 in Lansing, the daughter of Edward E. and Agnes H. (Oleska) Palmer. She was a member of Tyrone Covenant Presbyterian Church and Byron O.E.S. In 2003, Barbara retired from Citizens Insurance in Howell. Surviving are: children, Paula K. Shutes, Nancy M. and husband Dr. Mark Hudson, David E. Hudson; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; sister, Carolyn Rumery; several nieces and nephews.
