Barbara "Bobbie" Jones

Jones, Barbara "Bobbie" - age 80 of Flint, passed away peacefully, with her family by her side, on November 2, 2025. In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be announced and held at a future date. Barb was born on May 28, 1945 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to the late Ivan and Anna Marie (Pugliese) Jones. She attended Flint schools and Central Michigan University. Barb worked for General Motors for 31 years, gathering many friends and loved ones while there. Barb's love of people was legendary, and she truly lived the principle of first & always, be kind. She loved music, dancing, musical theater, sea life, the Michigan State University Spartans, and any women's basketball.

She is survived by her wife, Shelly. Children, Richard McClain; Lisa (Jason) Miller; child of the heart, Jesseka (Nathan) Finkbeiner. Grandchildren, Alex (Taylor); brii (Jude); Arika (Ezra). Keri, Fin, Zoey, Fallon and Killian. Brother, Thomas (Nancy) Jones; sister-in-law, Linda (Rick) Howard; special niece, Kristin (Grant) Beard; special nephew, Joshua (Melissa) Gardner; and many other beloved nieces, nephews and cousins.
