McQUEEN, Roseanne- age 50, of. West Olive (formerly of Farmington Hills) passed away May 10, 2025 after a courageous battle with cancer.
A Funeral Mass celebrating Roseanne’s life will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, May 20, 2025, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 600 N. Adelaide St., Fenton, with Fr. Robert Copeland officiating. Friends and family are invited to visitation from 2:00 PM–8:00 PM on Monday, May 19, 2025, at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton. Rosary Service 6:00 PM Monday. Additional visitation will take place at the church at 10:00 AM, prior to the Mass.
In honor of Roseanne’s life and her love for helping others, memorial contributions may be made to Pink Ribbon Riders or the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.
Born in Lincoln Park, Roseanne was the daughter of Stephen and Rosalie (Kowalczyk) Rudzki. She married Donald A. McQueen, on October 22, 1999, in Farmington. Together, they raised two beloved children, Brady and Avery, who were her greatest joy and proudest accomplishments.
A 1993 graduate of Farmington High School, Roseanne was a devoted wife, loving mother, and caring daughter and sister. She had a passion for reading, a competitive spirit at the card and board games, and a laugh that could brighten the darkest day. Roseanne’s quick wit and compassionate nature made her unforgettable to everyone who knew her. Roseanne’s legacy of love, laughter, and strength will continue to inspire all who knew her.
She is survived by her husband and best friend, Don; her children, Brady and Avery McQueen; her parents, Stephen and Rosalie (Kowalczyk) Rudzki; her siblings, Becky Rudzki, Raymond Rudzki, and Stephen Rudzki II; Godparents Aunt Alice Lewis and Uncle Ken Kowalczyk: and her nieces, Nicole and Natasha Dudin; in addition to many aunts, uncles, and cousins. She is also remembered with love by extended family and dear friends.
Roseanne was preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Craig Kurzeja; great aunts, Sr. Paulette Rudzki, and Sr. Vianney Rudzki. Online tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
