VINCENT, Barbara Ann (Grumley) - age 79, of Fenton, died on February 27, 2014. According to Barbara's wishes, private services will be held at a later time. Those desiring may make contributions to Hospice Advantage. Arrangements are being handled by Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton. Barbara was born on June 3, 1934 in Flint the daughter of Nelson and Rose M. (Ade) Grumley. She married Lawrence Ivan Vincent on September 30, 1950 in Swartz Creek; he preceded her in death August 29, 2012. Barbara retired from Holly area schools in 1994 as Supervisor of Transportation. She enjoyed camping, traveling, and spending time with her grandchildren. Surviving are daughters, Karen Vincent, Julie Parker (Richard), Lisa Roede (Tim), Laurie Ostrom (Greg); son Craig Vincent; daughters-in-law, Robin & Jan Vincent; brother, Charles (Vicki) Grumley of Traverse City; step-brother, Keith Taylor; sisters-in law, Nancy (Bud) Grumley, Julie (John) Grumley; 15 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; and 1 great-great granddaughter; nieces, nephews and cousins. Barbara was preceded in death by husband of 62 years, Lawrence Vincent; sons, Joseph & Christopher; sisters, Madeline Patchett, Shirley Holderbaum; brothers, Lovell (Bud) Grumley, John Grumley; and great-granddaughter, Kiah Parker.
