Williams, Barbara Ann (Crnolatic) - Age 78, of Clio, died April 5, 2018. Barbara was born January 15, 1940 in Flint, the daughter of Mathew Crnolatic Sr. and Julia (Jamiol) Crnolatic. Her professional career included serving as a college administrator and Dean at Mott Community College and the University of Cincinnati. A friend and mentor to students and colleagues, her commitment to education and love of knowledge touched and empowered many. Barbara was a passionate collector of miniatures and created amazing dollhouses. She enjoyed traveling the world with family and friends, pursuing her hobby. She also loved the arts, music, books, knitting, sports, and especially shopping. Family was everything to her. With a heart of gold and a razor-sharp wit, she was the glue that held everyone together. She will be missed dearly. Surviving are: two sons, Christopher Michael Williams (Erica Downs) of Meredith, NH, Eric Martin (Jennifer) Williams of Flint; grandchildren, Alexandria and Jackson Williams, Jessica Whiting; brother Mathew Jr.; sister Pamela; several nieces nephews, and cousins; aunt Joan Whitlock; several close friends including Susan McCrandall. She was preceded in death by her parents. Funeral services will be held 1 PM Wednesday, April 11 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Visitation will be held 1-8 PM Tuesday with the family present from 1-3 and 5-8 PM, and 12-1 PM Wednesday before services.Those desiring may make contributions to the Genesee County Humane Society or Genesee County Food Bank.
