Beatrice Lovejoy

Lovejoy, Beatrice Alta - Age 98, of Durand, died July 24, 2017. Funeral services will be held 1 PM Thursday, July 27 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Rev. Gary Glanville officiating. Interment at Bendle Cemetery, Clayton Township. Visitation will be held 11 AM until the time of service Thursday. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to the American Heart Association. Beatrice August 14, 1918 in Swartz Creek the daughter of Alfred D. and Frances E. (Granger) Wickham. She was a graduate of Mary Crapo High School. Beatrice married Carlysle J. Lovejoy on June 27, 1936; he preceded her in death August 17, 1980. She was a past member of the Swartz Creek United Methodist Church. Surviving are: daughter Lois (Ernest) Lawrence of Frontenac, KS; son, Dennis (Linda) Lovejoy of Lennon; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; several more relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers,. Kenneth and Erwin Wickham; son Douglas Lovejoy; and grandson Skip.
