Benjamin Allan Edling

March 4, 1985 — March 1, 2026

Fenton

Benjamin Allan Edling, of Fenton, passed away on March 1, 2026, just days before his 41st birthday. He was born on March 4, 1985.

Ben was a member of the Class of 2003 at Lake Fenton High School and spent much of his life in the Fenton community where he formed lasting friendships and connections.

Ben loved the outdoors and many of life’s simple joys. He enjoyed mountain biking, power lifting, listening to music, fishing, and spending time with family. Some of his happiest moments were spent at Lake Ponemah, where he enjoyed being near the water and sharing time with those closest to him.

He especially loved spending time with his nieces and nephews, often keeping them entertained with his humor, energy, and playful spirit. Ben had a way of making people laugh and feel at ease, and those moments will be remembered fondly by everyone who knew him.

Ben is survived by his father, Jack Edling; his mother, Linda Moorhouse (Kevin O’Reilly); his brothers, Jacob Edling (Missy) and Nicolas Edling (Mary); along with many extended family members who loved him dearly.

Ben will be remembered for his kind heart, sense of humor, and the joy he brought to family and friends. Though his life ended far too soon, the memories he created and the love he shared will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.

A celebration of life will be held in the spring or summer, with details to be shared by the family at a later date.

Ben Edling will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
