Bernadine Tinnin

Tinnin, Bernadine Ann - Age 81, of Flint, died June 21, 2017. Funeral services will be held 1 PM Monday, June 26 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Flint. Visitation 2-8 PM Sunday, 12-1 Monday. Committal services will be 10:30 AM Wednesday, June 28 at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly. Those desiring may make contributions to the Chad Tough Foundation for D.I.P.G. or the Alzheimers Association. Bernadine was born February 22, 1936 in Flint the daughter of Hiram and Elizabeth (McGaw) Jones. She was married to Franklin Tinnin on January 24, 1953; he preceded her in death march 30, 2012. Bernadine enjoyed her time spent with family and time up North. Surviving are: children, Franklin (Patricia) Tinnin Jr. of Flint, Rebecca (Jim) Hulber of Gladwin, Marilyn (Kevin) Dake of Flushing, Sherry Tinnin of Grand Blanc, Mark Tinnin (Elizabeth Bye) of Goodrich, Karen (Allen) DuBose of Flint, Stephanie (Ryan) Hiller of Goodrich; 18 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren due in 2017; brother-in-law, Mel (Lois) Tinnin; 2 sisters-in-law, Wanda Tinnin and Jo Tinnin; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Hiram Jones and Elizabeth Cussans; husband, Franklin Tinnin; grandson Jeffrey; and 6 siblings, Mary, Isabel, Leonard, Frances, Ruth, and Bobby.
