Bertha "Odella" Goheen

Bertha "Odella" Goheen, age 80, of Flint, passed away on Wednesday, March 20, 2024. Visitation will be held at 10am until the time of the Funeral Service at 11:30am on Tuesday, March 26, 2024 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road in Swartz Creek. Bertha was born on June 30, 1943 in Salinas, California to the late Walter & Bertha Hoye. She graduated from Central High School. She was employed for over 30 years at Buick City before retiring. During retirement she kept herself extremely busy. She was a member to both the Masonic Temple  and the Eagles of Durand 3851. She served as past, treasure, secretary and madame president with the Eagles. Bertha earned herself 40 Years of Service Award from the Oriental Shrine of North America for her outstanding service and constant support given to the community. 

She is survived by her son, Andrew Goheen; three grandsons, Adam Oliver, Andrew (Jessica) Oliver and Alan (Danelle) Oliver; eight great-grandchildren, Nick, Charles, Madison, Andy, Alex, Sophia, Landon and Aurora; her siblings, Eddie, Grace and Shirley. She is further survived by many other dear nieces, nephews and other family members too numerous to list but never forgotten.  

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew Goheen; daughter, Michelle and grand daughter-in-law, Chrystal.
