BetteJo Jones

JONES, BetteJo- age 82, of Fenton, formerly of Dearborn, passed away July 29, 2026. A Celebration of BetteJo's life will take place at a later date. She will be laid to rest at Parkview Memorial Cemetery, Livonia, also at a later date. Memorial contributions in BetteJo's memory would be appreciated to the Michigan Humane Society.

BetteJo was born September 23, 1943, in Detroit, the daughter of Joe A. and Theresa (Edwards) Dolezal. She married Robert Llewellyn Jones in Dearborn on June 25, 1969.

BetteJo loved her family dearly. She was especially proud of her three granddaughters.

She enjoyed celebrating holidays and she never forgot a birthday.
BetteJo had a big smile to share and a genuine interest in others.

She wanted others to feel special because in her eyes everyone is, and being a part of her family’s adventures is what made her happiest.

She is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth "Lisa" (Rob) Lewandowski; her son, William "Bill" (Julie) Jones; granddaughters, Mary Lewandowski, Lydia Jones, and Violet Jones.

BetteJo was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Theresa Dolezal; her husband, Robert L. Jones; and her sister, Kathryn Boyle.
