ESTES, Betty Ennis - Age 81, formerly of Wetumpka, AL, died February 3, 2014 in Grand Blanc, MI. Funeral services will be held 1 PM Friday, February 7, 2014 at Gassett Funeral Home, 204 E. Charles Ave., Wetumpka, AL. Visitation will be held from 12 PM until the time of service. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery, Tallasse, AL. Betty was born January 10, 1933 in Elmore County, AL, the daughter of James Clinton and Doris (Ingram) Ennis. She was married to Robert Morris Estes on May 20, 1951; he preceded her in death on January 7, 2007. Betty retired from Stanhope Elmore High School, where she was the Cafeteria manager for many years. She enjoyed gardening, fishing and being a member of Mt. Hebron West Baptist Church. Surviving are daughters, Ardelia (Frank) Williams, Cheryl (Billy) Laster; grandchildren, Cynthia (Dusty) Craine, Jameson Mills, Kevin WIlliams, Kellie Pearce; great-grandchildren, Joshua, Addison, Samantha; sister, Carolyn Latham; brother, Shirley Ennis. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Lamar, Gene and Tony; daughter, Sylvia; great-grandson, Bailen.
