Age 98, died Sunday November 1, 2026, at Courtyard Manor, Swartz Creek. A viewing will be held on Thursday, November 5 from 3:00-7:00pm at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel. A private funeral will be held at Flint Memorial Park on Friday November 6, 2026, at 2:00pm. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hope United Methodist Church Memorial Fund. Betty spent most of her life in Flint, MI. She enjoyed life and was very involved in her church and community. She had many friends. Betty was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Harold, daughters Lori and Judy and step-son Loren Madden. She is survived by grandson Brian (Amber) Johnson of Owosso, MI and step-daughter-in-law Kathy Madden of Charleston, SC, grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. A special thanks to neighbor and friends Karen Correll and Jill Witzman.
