SINCOCK, Betty Jane - Age 89, of Flint, died Sunday, May 5, 2013. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:00 AM Wednesday, May 8, 2013 at St. Pius X Catholic Church, G 3139 Hogarth Ave., Flint. Monsignor Richard Groshek celebrating. Burial in New Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Flint. Visitation will be held at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek Tuesday from 1-8 PM and at church Wednesday from 10:00 AM until time of service. A rosary will be prayed at 7:00 PM Tuesday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make contributions to St. Pius X Catholic Church.. Betty was born March 12, 1924 in Flint, the daughter of Lester and Anna B. (Malloy) Hall. She was a proud 1942 graduate of St. Michael Catholic High School. She married John W. Sincock August 16, 1947 at St. Michael Catholic Church in Flint. She worked for GM Chevrolet Assembly in the payroll department for 13 years. As a secretary for the High School and Middle School at Swartz Creek Community Schools after 20 years of service, she then retired in 1985. Betty was a member at St. Pius X Catholic Church for the past 57 years. Surviving are her husband of 66 years, John W. Sincock; beloved mother of, Susan and husband Tony Chiano of Swartz Creek; daughter-in-law, Mary Sincock of Swartz Creek; loving grandmother of, Katie and husband Steve Stiff , Jaclyn Sincock, Kara Chiano, and Kristy Lynn and husband Justin Blevins; great granddaughter, Autumn Grace Stiff; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Gary Sincock; 5 sisters, Madeline Whalen, Bernadette Bitters, Pauline Callahan, Virginia Sheppard, and Geraldine Glynn; and brother, Sylvester Hall.
