SPILLANE, Beulah Mabel - Age 96, of Flint Township, died Saturday, August 22, 2015. Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Wednesday, August 26, 2015 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Pastor Hal Phillips, and Pastor Jeff Hegenaur officiating. Burial immediately following in Crestwood Memorial Cemetery, Grand Blanc. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Tuesday from 1-4 and 6-8 PM and Wednesday from 12:00 PM until the time of the service. Those desiring may make contributions to Relay for Life, www.relayforlife.org/brightonmi Beulah was born October 3, 1918 in Isabella County, MI the daughter of Bert Albert and Hazel Beatrice (Jackson) Gerren. She married Loren Henry Spillane April 22, 1939 in Flint and he preceded her in death March 5, 1983. She retired as a bus driver for the Carmen Ainsworth School District after 29 years of service. Beulah attended South Mundy United Methodist Church. She was a life member of the Fenton V.F.W. Curtis Wolverton Post #3243 Womens Auxiliary and the Loose Senior Center in Linden. Surviving are: 4 children, Loren and wife Sue Spillane of Florida, Carol and husband Tom Peterson of Fenton, Robert Spillane of Saginaw, and Gerald "Jed" and wife Renee Spillane of Durand; 12 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren, and 8 great-great grandchildren; sister, Eunice Lyons of New Mexico; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was also preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Bennie, Robert, Duane, and Gerald Gerren; sister, Lois Brohn; and several other relatives from the Alexander, Moore, Muchette, and Harris families.
