Beverly June CRAMPTON

Crampton, Beverly June - Age 78, of Swartz Creek., died Monday, June 17, 2013 at McLaren-Flint. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Friday, June 21, 2013 at Court Street United Methodist Church, 225 W. Court St., Flint with Rev. Robert D. Wright officiating. Interment will follow in Elm Lawn Cemetery, Bay City. Visitation will be held 2-5 and 7-9 PM Thursday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Visitation will also be held from 10 AM until time of service Friday at the church. Those desiring may make contributions to Court Street United Methodist Church or the American Cancer Society. Beverly was born May 21, 1935 in Middletown, New York, the daughter of Elwin and Bertha (Bishop) Wood. She married Arthur Crampton on January 16, 1955 in Middletown, NY. She retired from Cambridge Square of Flint after 14 years as Assistant Property Manager. Mrs. Crampton was a member of Court Street United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women. Surviving are: husband, Arthur Crampton of Swartz Creek; three daughters, Shirley (Charles) Rose of Bridgeport, Carol (Bill) Ashcroft of Kent City, Donna (Bill) Birdsall of Murfreesboro, TN; three granddaughters, Jacque (Matthew) St. Clair of Lynchburg, VA, Hannah Mattson of Kent City and Kellie Birdsall of Lynchburg, VA; great-granddaughter, Addison St. Clair of Lynchburg, VA.
