ABERNATHY, Billie L. - age 77, of Fenton, died Friday, April 12, 2013. Services will be held 12:30 PM Wednesday, April 17, 2013 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 W. Silver Lake Rd., Fenton with Rev. James Kennedy officiating. Visitation will be held 10:30 AM until the time of service Wednesday at the funeral home. Mr. Abernathy was born August 26, 1935 in Leachville, AR, the son of Bernie and Geneva Abernathy. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Mr. Abernathy owned and operated Leon's Carpet and Tile, he later owned The Still, The LLT and Cloud Nine. Surviving are: wife of 57 years, Grace; two brothers, Thomas Calhoun and Frank True; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Louse Moyer, Pat Hoseth and Faye Lively; brothers, Donald Calhoun and Johnny Calhoun.
