Bonnie Frances Burch

 Age 83, of Swartz Creek, MI, died Monday, May 12, 2025. Interment will be held at Mount Rest Cemetery in St. John’s MI.

Bonnie was born on October 1941, in Saginaw, MI, the daughter of Wayne H. and Merlyn G. (Shanks) Burch of Swartz Creek, MI. Bonnie taught at St. Mary’s Queen of Angels, was a member of Swartz Creek Jaycees, and other local organizations. She moved to Rockville, MD in 1978 and returned to Swartz Creek in 1996. After retiring in 2014, Bonnie moved to Coral Springs, Florida and enjoyed painting, reading, and crafting with friends in her retirement community. Bonnie returned to Michigan in March 2024 due to declining health and lived in Lapeer until her death. She is preceded in death by her sister Jacqueline (Burch) Sova, brother-in-law Michael W. Sova, and parents Wayne H. and Merlyn G. (Shanks) Burch.

She is survived by brother Kevin W. Burch of Dayton, OH, son Marc D. Viens of Fort Lauderdale, FL, daughter Kimberly A. Viens of Fenton, MI, granddaughter Cassandra A. Kulman and husband Weston P. Kulman of Burlingame, CA, and former husband Martial J. Viens of Swartz Creek, MI.
