Boris Akerman

AKERMAN, Boris Grigoryevich - Age 84, of Flint, died Sunday, August 31, 2008 at his residence. Funeral services will be held 11:30 AM Wednesday, September 3, 2008 at Machpelah Cemetery with Rabbi Yisroel Weingarten officiating. Boris was born May 2, 1924 in Russia, the son of Gregory and Aida Akerman. He was a veteran of WWII serving in the Russian Army. Boris married Mariya Poznyakova May 1944 and has resided in Flint since 1992. Surviving are: wife, Mariya; 4 children, Raisa Kalika, Adelya Akerman, Vladimir Akerman, Svetlana Grinman; 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
