Brian Blight

BLIGHT, Brian Dean - Age 63, of Mt. Morris, died Thursday December 1, 2016. Funeral services will be held 3:30PM Tuesday, December 6, 2016, at Sharp Funeral Home, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Pastor Eric Carlson officiating. Visitation will be held 2PM - 8PM Monday and 1PM until time of service Tuesday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make contributions to the family. Brian was born April 17, 1953 in Flint, Michigan, the son of the late Glen William and Virginia Ruth (Cooley) Blight. He retired from the United States Postal Service with 20 years of service. Brian enjoyed photography, reading, writing and was a column writer for the Flint Journal. He loved children, animals, being outdoors and spending time with his friends. Brian spent many hours listening to CB radios and police scanners. Surviving are: wife of 32 years, Kim Ebert-Blight of Mt. Morris; daughter, Ashley Ebert of Swartz Creek; son, Kyle Ebert of Flint; grandchildren, Noah, Zoey, Harmony; sister, Barbara (Larry) Whalen of Davison; brothers, Keith (Judy) Blight of FL, Kevin (Laura) Blight of Flint, Neil (Michelle) Blight; many nieces and nephews.
