Brian Metiva

METIVA, Brian Scott - Age 37, of Burton, died May 15, 2020. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Those desiring may make contributions to the Genesee County Humane Society. Brian was born January 31, 1983 in Flint, the son of Scott Allen and Linda Faye (Newsome) Metiva. He enjoyed movies, computer games, and spending time in nature. He always loved being around others and could talk and make friends with anyone he met. In his spare time Brian was a volunteer for the Birds of Prey show at the Renaissance Festival. He worked for Hungry Howies. Brian is survived by his parents; sister, Lauren Metiva of Texas; grandfather, Lloyd (Shirley) Metiva of Flint; aunt and uncle, Kim (Niel Harmeson) Metiva-Shoup of FL.; and many extended family. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Joan Fox-Metiva; grandparents, Chester and Louise Newsome. Brian will be greatly missed by family and friends.
