Bruce Francis Witte

WITTE, Bruce Francis - Age 68, of Flint, passed away Tuesday, June 3, 2025. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Monday, June 9, 2025 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek (The service will be live streamed and can be viewed via Bruce's obituary page at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com). Visitation will be held at the funeral home Monday from 12 PM until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to the family, c/o Sharp Funeral Homes.

Bruce was born October 7, 1956 in Flint, the son of George and Avis (Wain) Witte. He was a 1975 graduate of Flint Northern High School. He had resided in the Flint area his entire life. He married Judith S. Venner October 4, 1980 in Flint. Bruce worked along side his brother, Lance in the Construction Business. He loved watching sports, dogs, feeding the birds and vacationing with his family on Torch Lake.

Surviving are: his wife of 44 years, Judith; sons, Eric (Jaimie) Witte of Flushing and Christopher Witte of Flushing; grandsons, Logan and Liam Witte; sisters, Patricia Powers of Grand Blanc and Michelle (James) Mogford of Rapid City; brother, Lance (Patricia) Witte of Mt. Morris; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Avis Witte; sisters, Christine O'Rourke and Joyce Russ; nephew, Scott Witte. To celebrate Bruce's life, the family asks everyone to wear their favorite sports apparel to his service. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
