Bryant Lee Rankin

RANKIN, Bryant Lee - Age 75, of Fenton, passed away Monday, July 7, 2025. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, July 11, 2025 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton (The service will be live streamed and can be viewed via Bryant's obituary page at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com). Pastor Robert Carter officiating. Burial in Fairview Cemetery, Linden. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Thursday from 4-8 PM and Friday from 10 AM until the time of the service.

Bryant was born December 30, 1949 in Franklin, NC, the son of Charles Lee and Elva Irene (Browning) Rankin. He was a 1969 graduate of Clarenceville High School in Livonia. He married Patricia Anne Lincourt July 1, 1977 in Farmington Hills. Bryant had resided in Fenton since 2001 coming from Novi. He retired in 1999 from Detroit Diesel after 32 years of service. He was a member of the U.A.W. Local 163. He enjoyed cooking, hunting, movies, music, the outdoors and most of all spending time with his family.

Surviving are: his wife, Patricia; children, David (Stephanie) Rankin of Byron, Brandon (Angelique) Rankin of Swartz Creek and Colleen Rankin of Florida; grandchildren, Madison, Asher, Jaxson, Emmaree and Preslee Rankin; mother, Elva Rankin of New Hudson; siblings, Douglas (Donna) Rankin, Gail Wycoff, Deborah Rankin, Kathi Rankin, Cindy (Hugh) Forrester, Mary (Robert) Carter and Wayne (Roseanna) Rankin; and several nieces and nephews.
