C. Kirk KIRKPATRICK

KIRKPATRICK, C. "Kirk" - age 89 of Linden, died Tuesday, October 9, 2012. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Monday, October 15, 2012 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 East Broad St., Linden, with Dwight Murphy officiating. Interment at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly. Visitation will be held 5-8 PM Sunday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make contributions to the American Cancer Society. Kirk was born January 1, 1923 in Cass City. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving in WWII. He was an iron worker for over 30 years and worked on the construction of the Mackinac Bridge. He enjoyed traveling with his wife for many years. Kirk is survived by his daughter, Nancy (Paul) Mitchell; grandchildren, Jay (Bridget) Gross, Janelle (Jesus) Ortiz, Jennifer (Adam) Lesperance, Sarah (Max) Dietrich, Ron Mitchell, Emily Mitchell, Angela (Mike) Miley, Karl (Rebecca) Knapp and Aaron Knapp; 11 great-grandchildren.
