Carleen Yvonne Johnson

JOHNSON, Carleen Yvonne - Age 90, of Fenton, passed away Wednesday, September 17, 2025. Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Monday, September 22, 2025 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton (The service will be live streamed and can be viewed via Carleen's obituary page at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com). Pastor Robbie Carnes officiating. Burial immediately following at Evergreen Cemetery, Grand Blanc. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Monday from 11 AM until the time of the service. Carleen was born September 9, 1935 in Standish, the daughter of Ernest and Retha (Taylor) Rupp. She was a 1953 graduate of Owosso High School; and she received her nursing degree from Hurley School of Nursing. She married Walter W. Johnson December 1, 1957 in Owosso. She had worked at Fisher Body I and retired from Chevrolet Metal Fab. as a Registered Nurse. Carleen attended First Presbyterian Church of Fenton. She enjoyed playing the organ, cooking and caring for her family.

Surviving are: her husband of 67 years, Walter; son, Edward "Eddie" (Oiy) Johnson of Oak Ridge, NC; daughter, Cynthia (David) Green of Hale; grandchildren, Vanessa (Justin) Richmond of National City, David Green of Flint and Kristina Green of Flint; great granddaughter, Madelyn Richmond and several other great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Retha Rupp; and infant brother, Harold Rupp. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
