Carol Louise Forrester

Forrester, Carol Louise - age 62 of Flint, passed away peacefully at home, with her family by her side, on February 16, 2026. A committal service will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday, February 19, 2026 at Great Lakes National Cemetery located at 4200 Belford Road, Holly, Michigan 48442. For those desiring, memorial contributions may be made in Carol's memory to the American Cancer Society (American Cancer Society).

Carol was born on November 3, 1963 in Flint, Michigan to Norman and Madeline (Hoffman) Wissinger. She married Mark Brian Forrester on October 20, 1984 in Ipswich, England and they loved each other deeply. Carol had a passion for gardening, and she looked forward to planting each spring. She enjoyed the outdoors and canoeing on the weekends in the summer and fall. Carol also liked watching sit-coms & HBO series in addition to cooking for family gatherings, collecting dolls and decorating for Halloween and Christmas.

Surviving is her husband of 41 years, Mark. Son, Mark (Megan Vliet) Nathan Forrester. Granddaughter, Isabella. Parents, Norman and Madeline Wissinger. Siblings, Kevin Wissinger of Burton; Sharol (Donald) Wheaton of Davison; Kenneth (Paula) Wissinger of Burton; Mike Wissinger of Burton; David (Jodi) Wissinger of Grand Blanc; Denise Wissinger of Burton. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
