Carol Cecile Lucas

LUCAS, Carol Cecile - Age 85, of Byron, passed away Friday, September 5, 2026. She will be placed in the columbarium at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly at a later date.

Carol was born January 13, 1941 in New Orleans, LA, the daughter of Andrew and Marie (Sylva) Randazzo. She was a 1959 graduate of Nickels Highs School in New Orleans, LA. She married John Harvey Lucas August 31, 1958 in Clarkston and he preceded her in death June 23, 2011. Carol had resided in Byron since 1979. She retired in 2005 from Tri State Medical Supply. She enjoyed crocheting, doing puzzles, playing cards, cooking, and taking care of her family.

Surviving are: her daughters, Donna Napier of Durand, Frances (Joe) Lucas-Tulleners of Smyrna, GA, and LuWanda Gordon of Owosso; 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren; brother, Andrew (Debra) Randazzo of Mississippi.

She was also preceded in death by her parents, Andrew and Marie Randazzo; daughter, Jackie Efu, and sons-in-law, Steve Efu and Rodger Napier. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
