WILSON, Carol Marlene - Age 79 of Flint, passed away September 17, 2026, at Henry Ford Genesys Hospital. Cremation will take place. A celebration of life will be held 1PM Sunday, September 20 at the Wilson Home. Memorial contributions may be made to The Salvation Army. Carol was born September 28, 1946, in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of Bryant and Harriet (Lekke) Howell. She married Thomas Wilson on February 14, 1981, and together they shared more than 45 years of marriage. An unassuming, kindhearted person, Carol was genuine in her care for others. She enjoyed watching birds and deer, spending time outdoors, and caring for her pets. She also enjoyed crafts, collecting knickknacks, and snooping thrift stores and garage sales. Her many nieces and nephews held a special place in her heart. Carol is survived by her husband, Thomas; son, Daniel (Fay) Wilson, Patricia Howell; cousin, Cynthia Farner; brothers-in-law, Wayne (Kris) Wilson, Brian (Sherri) Wilson, Robert (Brenda) Wilson, and Tony (Tami) Wilson; Lorna Wilson, sister and sister-in-law, Debbie Wilson; many nieces and nephews also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Mel, Ken, and Nick Howell; brothers-in-law, Billy and Lex; son, James Edward Wilson; and three other heavenly babies.
