THRASH, Caroline L.(Armbruster), age 96, of Flint, died Saturday, March 9, 2013 at Caretel Inns of Linden. A funeral service will be held 11AM Thursday, March 14, 2013 at Saint Paul Lutheran Church 402 S. Ballenger, Flint. Pastor Jeffery B. Walsh officiating. Burial at Sunset Hills Cemetery, Flint to follow service. Visitation will be held 2PM to 8PM Wednesday at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Flint, and also 10AM Thursday until time of service at the church. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Saint Paul Lutheran Church Building Fund. Mrs. Thrash was born February 10, 1917 in Unionville, MI. the daughter of the late Henry and Ella (Mueller) Armbruster. She married Eldon E. Thrash on September 3, 1937 in Flint MI, he preceded her in death March 23, 2000. Caroline was a member of Saint Paul Lutheran Church of Flint and a very active member of the Altar Guild. Surviving; daughter, Roselyn Marie Thrash of FL.; son Gerald James Thrash of Flint Twp.; grandchildren, David (Cathy) Thrash and Sheryl (Steve) Worden; 3 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Phyllis Armbruster of Flint; brother-in-law, Norman (Dorothy) Hensel of Sebewaing, MI; several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by son, S. Ronald Thrash; sister, Ruth (Andrew) Leskowich; brothers, William (Irene)Armbruster and Marvin Armbruster.
