COX, Catherine S. - age 71, of Linden, died Friday, February 8, 2013. Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Thursday, February 14, 2013 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 East Broad Street, Linden, with Rev. Don Neuville officiating. Visitation will be held 5-9 PM Wednesday and 10:00 AM until the time of service Thursday. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to Avalon Hospice. Mrs. Cox was born September 3, 1941 in Flint, the daughter of Jerry and Ida (Leland) Cicalo. She retired from GM with 26 years of service. She was a member of Fenton and Comins Eagles. She enjoyed doing puzzles, loved animals and enjoyed good humor. She enjoyed spending time Up North. She is survived by her children, Ted (Korine) Schuler, Vicki (John) Makaravage, Sally (Jeff) Chaltraw, Venis Cox, Gary Cox II; 16 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; sister, Connie (David) Boyden; mother-in-law, Bertha Torrey; many nieces and nephews.
