Catherine Celestine "Sally" Zaroff

ZAROFF, Catherine "Sally" Celestine, age 86, of Fenton, passed away Sunday, October 5, 2025. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:00 AM Monday, November 10, 2025 at Chapel of the Holy Innocents at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 600 N. Adelaide St., Fenton. Fr. Robert Copeland celebrant. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until the time of Mass on Monday. Committal Service will take place at 2:30 PM at Great Lakes National Cemetery, 4200 Belford Road, Holly. Memorial contributions in Sally's memory would be appreciated to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Sally was born in Flint on September 18, 1939, the daughter of the late Dr. Aaron and Nora (Dillon) Crego. She married Daniel Zaroff on June 1, 1964. Sadly, he preceded her in death on February 12, 2025. Sally went on after high school to St Joseph Mercy School of Nursing in Ann Arbor. She became a registered nurse and worked up until her first child. From there she would become a homemaker to raise her children and tend to the home. Sally was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, a long time member of the Flint Golf Club and loved Dance Club with her husband. In her free time, she loved cooking, gardening and traveling.

Sally is survived by her sons, Mark (Melissa) Zaroff, Matthew (Kathleen) Zaroff, and Brian (Crysta) Zaroff; 7 grandchildren, Hayley Zaroff, Olivia (Joshua) Lesnich, Emmy Zaroff, Jacob Zaroff, Ashley (AJ) VonOpstall, Tyler (Ashley) Zaroff, and Kaitlyn (Christopher) Chartier; 2 great-grandchildren and 2 sisters, Mary Krueger and Barbara Barth.
