Chad Hatt

Hatt, Chad Dennis - Age 79, of Burton, died July 25, 2019. Memorial services will be held 2PM July 31 at Berean Baptist Church 6705 Rustic Ridge Trail Grand Blanc. Private interment at a later date at Flint Memorial Park. Visitation will be held 1:30PM Wednesday at the church. Those desiring may make contributions to Berean Baptist Church or the Burton Senior Center. Chad was born October 3, 1939 in Lansing the son of Donald F. and Cleo (Holmes) Hatt. He married Marcia Engstrom on October 2, 1971 in Flint. Chad served his country in the United States Air Force. He worked for General Motors for 44 years as an electrician at Flint Tool and Die. Chad enjoyed serving on the Property Committee at Berean Baptist Church for many years. He also enjoyed flower gardening at home. Chad was a member of the U.A.W. Local 659. Chad is survived by his wife, Marcia Hatt; sons, David Hatt of Flint, Tim (Shannon) Hatt of Acworth, GA; granddaughter, Fiona Hatt; brother, Ron (Sherry) Hatt of Rotonda West, FL; sister, Judy Smith of Branch, MI; and several nieces and nephews.
