Helms, Charles Marion - Age 73, of Burton, died August 17, 2020. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Private interment in Ft. Custer National Cemetery. Arrangements provided by Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center 6063 Fenton Rd. Grand Blanc. Charles was born July 4, 1947 in Flint, the son of Marion and Julia Virginia (Chapman) Helms. He was a veteran of the United States Army. Charles worked as a records identification processor for the City of Flint Police Department. He is survived by his 3 children, Tammy Marie (Robert Bennett) Helms-Bennett, Timothy Charles Helms, Jason (Crystal) Helms; 7 grandchildren, Austin, Dustin, Kursten, Tristan, Samantha, Abigail, Liam; sisters, Patricia (John) Musselwhite, Judy Skinner; numerous nieces and nephews, including special nephew, Lance Skinner.
