Charles Clement "Tom" PRIEUR

PRIEUR, Charles Clement "Tom" - Age 91, of Fenton, died September 26, 2013. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 AM Tuesday, October 1, 2013 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 600 N. Adelaide St., Fenton. Fr. Dwight Ezop celebrant. Burial will follow at St. John Cemetery. Visitation will be held 4-8 PM Monday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton and from 10 AM until the time of Mass Tuesday at church. A rosary will be held at 7 PM Monday followed by a Knights of Columbus service. Those desiring may make contributions to the VFW National Home for Children. Mr. Prieur was born January 10, 1922 in Alpena, the son of Oliver and Eva (LaBrecque) Prieur. Tom loved to fly, and held his private pilot license for many years. He retired from General Motors in 1978 with 38 years of service. Mr. Prieur was a member of St.John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus Council 7418. He was a member, past President and Treasurer of The Dads of Foreign Service #271 with the Fenton VFW and a life member and past President of Fenton Lakes Sportsman Club. Surviving are: brother, James Prieur; grandchildren, Lori Richardson, Josh (Stacy) Webber, Nikki Frith, Sean (Somer) Webber and Jason Schultz; 12 great-grandchildren; three great great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mable; son, Kenneth Sellers; daughters, Kathy Miner and Kerry Webber; seven siblings.
