Charles Eldon THAYER

Thayer, Charles Eldon -- Age 72, of Flint, died September 12, 2013. Charles was born December 27, 1940 in Flint, Michigan, the son of the late Charles and Frieda (Schipansky) Thayer. Mr. Thayer married Mary Ann Butkovich on November 23, 1963. He retired from Chevy V-8 Engine plant in 1992. Surviving are: wife Mary Ann of Flint; sons, Bill (Myla) Thayer, Mike (Carrie) Thayer, Tony (Jenn) Thayer; grandchildren, Josh (Alyssa) Thayer, Joel Thayer, Hannah (Ethan) Birkey, Hayley (Michael) Amatuzzo, MJ Thayer, Eddie Thayer, Zoey Thayer, Marshall Thayer, Tucker Thayer; sisters, Donna Swerdan, Shirley (Carl) Norberg; brothers, Ron (Nancy) Thayer, Cal (Diane) Thayer; companions, Doogie and Harley; many friends and family. He was preceded in death by two brothers Clarence Thayer and Donald Thayer. The family would like to extend a special thank-you to Hurley ICU.
