Charles Ulrich

ULRICH, Charles William- Age 71, of Swartz Creek, died on Saturday December 24, 2016. Funeral Services will be held 12:30 PM Thursday December 29 at Sharp Funeral Homes Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Visitation will be 4-8 PM Wednesday and 11:30 AM until the time of service Thursday at the funeral home. Interment to follow services at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly. Memorial Contributions may be made to The Alzheimer's Foundation or The American Heart Association. Charles was born January 5, 1945 in Bay City the son of Louis and Beulah (Stutesman) Erkfitz. He was raised by his adoptive father, William Ulrich and Beulah Ulrich. He married Maureen C. Hendee on May 22, 1965 in Comstock Park. He proudly served in the United States Army from 1966-1970. He was employed as the Branch Manager of United Wholesale Grocery Co. in Flushing for 42 years, retiring in 2007. Charles was a member of The South Mundy United Methodist Church since 1977. He was an avid bowler. Charles is survived by his wife of 51 years, Maureen; children, Steven Ulrich, Mark Ulrich, and Kimberly DiBari; grandchildren, Megan, Rocco, Ethan, and Arianna; siblings, Ronald Erkfitz, Gordon Erkfitz, and Lois.
