WEINSTEIN, Charles - age 92, of Flint, died Thursday, April 15, 2010. Services will be held 11 AM Sunday, April 18, 2010 at the Chapel of Machpelah Cemetery with Mr. Leonard Meizlish officiating. Contributions may be made Congregation Beth Israel Seniors. Mr. Weinstein was born March 16, 1918 in Detroit the son of Morris and Anna Weinstein. He married Anne Lande and she preceded him in death in September 1999. Mr. Weinstein was a veteran of the U.S. Navy serving during World War II. He owned and operated M & S Bottling Company and was a member of Congregation Beth Israel. Mr. Weinstein was an avid golfer, artist, joke teller and writer. He was a historian of Flint and a lover of good food, family and friends. Surviving are: three children, Paul Weinstein, Dr. Ross Weinstein and Susan (Barry) Alberts; granddaughter, Jaime Alberts; brother, Aaron (Anita) Weston; many nieces and nephews.
