BLACKBURN-MATHEWS, Charlotte Diane - Our angel came into our lives like a firecracker (born July 4, 1982) and left us for Heaven on May 9, 2014. Charlotte had an outgoing lively spirit that could uplift anyone's mood. Her warm generous heart and sense of humor was felt by all who knew her. If you are sad remembering our angel than remember the good times you had with her. Charlotte is survived by: Husband, David Mathews; children, Tyler Blackburn (14) and Zachary Blackburn (9), Austin Mathews (15), Tyler Mathews (12), Tiana Dotson (14); mother, Karen Boyd (life partner Dale Gordon), father, Gregory Blackburn (wife Cheryl); siblings, Tonya Krey, Jeffrey Blackburn, Sara Blackburn, CJ Blackburn; special aunt, Sheri Reames and husband Darrell; niece/sister, Asha Krey; many nieces and nephews; 1 great nephew, Rylin; grandmother, Phyllis Hill, step-grandmother, Deloris Sharp; father-in-law, James Mathews; special friends who were "sister's from another mother", Amber Conlin, Kendra Jones, Nicole Rhodes, and Ashley Delong; honorary brother KC Boyer; and way too many extended friends and family members to name. Charlotte was loved by many. Charlotte is preceded in death by: maternal grandmother Betty Krey-Pratt, maternal grandfather Earl Krey, paternal grandfather Charles Blackburn, paternal step-grandmother Ruth Blackburn, paternal step-grandfather James Hill, and paternal step-grandfather Doyle Sharp Sr.; great grand-parents; special friend Mikey Delong; and many others who will be welcoming her in Heaven. Charlotte's family wants to thank everyone for their heartfelt condolences and prayers. We feel honored and humbled for the out pouring of love and support we have received.
