Chester Sarzynski

SARZYNSKI, Chester Casimir - age 73, of Fenton, died Monday, July 24, 2017. A memorial service will be held 1 PM Saturday, July 29, 2017 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 W. Silver Lake Rd., Fenton. The family will receive friends from 11:30 AM - 1 PM Saturday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the Humane Society of Genesee County. Mr. Sarzynski was born June 10, 1944 in Detroit, the son of Chester Casimir and Dolores (Fini) Sarzynski. Mr. Sarzynski was a semi-truck driver and loved being on the road. For Chet, family was everything. He passionately supported his grandchildren and was proud of all their accomplishments. He loved to attend all his grandchildren's activities and it was not uncommon for him to travel 4 or more hours to do so. Mr. Sarzynski loved animals and sports, especially UM Football. He enjoyed sharing stories of his high school sports glory days. Surviving are: daughter, Suzanne and husband, Dan Pierce of Montrose; son, Anthony Sarzynski and wife, Lisa of Frankfort, IL; five grandchildren, Samuel James Tunningley, Lucas Anthony Tunningley, Cole Maxwell Tunningley, John "Jack" Sarzynski, and Janelle Lyn Sarzynski; step-children, Danny Klees and Jennifer and husband, Tristan Stevenson and their daughter, Samantha; two sisters, Dolores and husband, Larry Mastellar and Norma Shewchenko and partner, Bob Vican; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by: his wife, whom he loved and missed dearly, Ilene Sarzynski; his brother, Anthony Sarzynski; and his parents.
