BROSTEK, Chris C. - Age 68, of Fenton, lost his 22 year battle with Lupus on February 6, 2013. Funeral mass will be celebrated 12:30 PM Friday, February 8, 2013 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 600 N. Adelaide St., Fenton. Visitation will be held 3-5 & 7-9 PM Thursday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton with a Rosary at 7 PM. Visitation will also be held from 12 PM until the time of Mass Friday at the church. Burial will be in Great Lakes National Cemetery. Those desiring may make contributions to the family. Chris was born December 7, 1944 in Detroit, the son of Carl and Marian (Kosman) Brostek. He proudly served in the U.S. Navy. Chris retired from Chrysler with 37 years of service. He was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church and K of C. Those desiring may make contributions to the family. He was an active member of the Fenton Lions Club, where he served as Tail Twister for many years. Surviving are: wife, Mary Ann; daughter, Dr. Donna Brostek Lee (Brian); father, Carl Brostek; brother, Carl "Chuck" Brostek (Helen); nieces, Sara and Nicole Brostek; brother-in-law, Richard Vervisch (Mary); nephew, Jim Vervisch (Lynda); niece, Christine McMahon (Steve); beloved great-nieces, Casey and Rory McMahon.
