BARTHOLOMEW, Christopher Jon "Chris" - Age 57, of Fenton, died Sunday, November 11, 2012. Services will be held 6:00 PM Wednesday, November 14, 2012 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd, Fenton, with Pastor Everett Herberger officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Wednesday from 4:00 PM until time of service. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to the Christopher Bartholomew Memorial Fund, c/o Scholarship Fund for his grandchildren. Chris was born September 23, 1955 in Flint, the son of Robert and Eleanor (Webb) Bartholomew. He was a 1973 graduate of Fenton High School. He married Melody Ann Alexander June 21, 1980 in Flint. Chris was employed by Universal Tube in Rochester. He loved hunting, fishing, golf, baseball, but most of all his granddaughters. He is survived by: wife, Melody; 2 children, Karen and husband Michael Mitchell of Grand Blanc and Robert "Ryan" Bartholomew of Fenton; 2 granddaughters, Hannah and Kate; brother, Robert and wife Linda Bartholomew of Lake, MI; sister, Kerry and husband David Helton of Florida; nieces and nephews.
